Allergies - Yuck

We had a good weekend, beside what we think are allergies - we went to a couple of graduations... went to see the Anderson family & meet baby Nolan... watched daddy cut down a tree.. played with cousins Kalley & Taylor (actually Kalley babysat for a couple hours, can you believe she is old enough).

For the past couple of weeks Macie has had some green eyes that were red & puffy under. We are thinking it is allergies. Mommy went to Walgreens this morning & got something, so we'll cross our fingers that it helps!

Great Weekend

We had a great weekend... Saturday we celebrated Kalley, Colton & Trayton's (my niece & nephew's) birthdays at the lake. It was a beautiful day we just hung out with my family and my grandma, aunt & cousins - played games & enjoyed the beautiful weather. Sunday we had Ellen's (Kent's cousin) graduation. It was great to see family that we don't get a chance to see very often. And today we went to Nick & Amanda's and hung out with a bunch of friends - grilled out & enjoyed the day. Macie's got to see her friends Hudson & Owen - sorry for no pictures. I wanted to get one of the 3 kids & just totally spaced it out. Hudson is 10 months, Macie is 7 months & Owen is 3 weeks. We hope everyone enjoyed the weekend & have a great week!

Prayer for Becky

Tonight at 8:00 pm (CST) prayer Becky Hewitt!!!

As you may know, Becky our sister-in-law/aunt is battling breast cancer. She has been fighting since January 2005. In April 2007 she found out it had spread to her liver and since then it just continues to spread. Becky is going to once again start chemotherapy tomorrow! She is a wife and a mother/step-mother, sister-in-law, aunt and SO MUCH MORE and can use everyone’s prayers!

*Taylor (Dan & Becky's daughter)& Macie at daycare today - It's "support Becky" day @ daycare. Macie has her Becky's hope shirt on & Taylor has on her pink dress!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all! We had a great day!!! We went to visit Grandma Nancy & then Grandma Linda! Macie & daddy gave me a shelf for my scrapbook room. Daddy made it - it's awesome... it has slots for paper, spots for my stickers, tubs and much more!

Macie has been changing like crazy! She is sitting up all by herself, holding her own bottles and took her 1st bath tonight without the "baby insert" in it. Mommy made the mistake of showing her how to splash, she thought it was great. She is still loving her food and sleeping thought the nights - yaaaa! Have a great week!

Just a quick update... she has had; peas, carrots, sweet potato's and loves all of them! She is also sleeping through the night! Last Thursday she did cry a little, but ever since then we have been going to bed anywhere from 7:30-8:15 and sleeping till 6:30 or so - YAA! Will update again soon. Happy Mother's Day to all of the mom's :)
