Camping

We went camping again this weekend & Macie had a lot of fun! Since we knew it would be our last camping trip for the year we made it a long one & took off Friday & headed out Thursday after work. We headed down to Lake Shetek state park with Tony & Miranda and Justin & Jamie. We had found one of those bike carts on craig's list so Macie got to enjoy that for the first time - she really liked it! I have pictures once I am able to find my camera :(

Scrapbooking & Camping

I thought I would pass along a bit of info to anyone interested... my brother & sister-in-law have a cabin in Hutchinson that they rent out. They have decided to turn it into a scrapbooking retreat for the winter months. It is very good in price (way cheaper than most that are out there). Macie's book right now is at Easter, so I have a lot to catch up on before baby #2 comes.

Last weekend we took Macie camping for the 1st time. We didn't get our camper till August and I think every weekend after Kent & I went to Stockholm till now, we had something going on. But last weekend we were able to sneak away for a night with our friends Tony & Miranda. We set up Macie's pack-n-play in the back & she did great! By the time we got there Friday night, it was supper, sit by the fire for a little bit and then off to bed. Tony & Miranda had a pug "Bell" & Macie loved her... She's not in the picture, but I think she's under the table with Macie. It was only a one trip night because we had to get back for a surprise birthday party for sister-in-law/aunt Becky - but we still had a good time!

Baby update

Just a quick update.... tomorrow I will be 15 weeks along, only 25 weeks to go (176 days). I go to the doctor again October 8th. Hopefully we can get a heartbeat on the little one this time. As of tomorrow the baby is as long as a Kit Kat "finger" and weighs about 2 ounces! Monday morning I got sick for the 1st time - uggg! It has not happened since, so we'll cross our fingers it was a fluke. It is just so weird with Macie I NEVER got sick, was nauseous, had craved, anything... felt like normal. This baby I am nauseous almost every morning and some nights, have a lot of craving and I am super tired! Some nights I put Macie to bed at 8:00 and continue down the hall and put mommy to bed :)

Macie is doing great! Walking around furniture like crazy! She is down to a morning & night time bottle, otherwise it's only a sippy cup. She is also on mostly "real food". Some days she has her mommy's attitude and doesn't want to eat what we give her, but she's getting better. Monday night we had our 1st ECFE class here in town, it was a lot of fun. All she really did is play - oh and got a graham cracker for snack, but it was good mommy time!

Little Falls & Hewitt Reunion

We kept busy this past weekend!

Friday I left work early & headed up to St. Cloud for a girls night! It's a tradition we started about 6 years ago I think? It' my mom, me & my two sister-in-laws, my aunt, my cousin & their two daughter/sister-in-laws (OK one technically isn't an in law till next Sept, but close enough). We head up to St. Cloud Friday afternoon, go out for supper & then go shopping at a store called "Crafts direct" (which is awesome). We then head to the hotel & play games, snack & hang out. The next day we are up bright & early to head to Little Falls for their craft fair - IT'S THE BEST -Over 600 vendors!!! I always enjoy it, but this year had a lot of fun shopping for Macie's "big girl room" :) Last year I was not able to go because I was on bed rest with Macie, so I have been waiting for this for 2 years! I will try & post pictures of her room once we get things hung up & situated. After I got back it was a quick shower & off to help celebrate Brielle's 3rd birthday at Grandma & Grandpa Evans. Macie got to try both milk & pizza for the first time & loved them both (I know I'm one of those weird overprotective mom's)! She had so much fun playing with her cousin's she was up till 9:30 - she's NEVER stayed up that late!

Little Falls picture - We all have matching shirts! The front reads"official Little Falls shirt" & the back reads "shopped till we dropped" & then we list all of the years we have gone. We all have a picture frame that say "official Little Falls Picture Frame" so every year we take a group picture for our frame. This year my soon to be cousin Kate could not be there because she had her gallbladder taken out. We wanted to make sure she felt "included" in our picture so we spelt out her name!

Sunday we had a reunion on my dad's side. It was nice to see aunts, uncles & cousins we do not see very often. Some of them I don't think I've seen in 5 years!

Baby Evans

I thought I would put the new picture of Baby Evans on here! I had my regular check up today... 13 weeks today - onto the 2nd trimester! Baby gave mom a little scare, but it's all good now. The dr. couldn't find his/her heartbeat & was trying to keep mom calm, but I could tell was nervous as well. He went to go grab the nurse, came back with the ultrasound machine & baby Evans was moving ... therefor mom got a new picture :)! But 4 weeks is not going to come fast enough, just so he can check him/her again & really make us feel better!!!

Kookies & Kake 4 Konner.....Tuesday, September 15th.....11:30-2:30@ Hewitt Lifts & Roll-A-Dock(709 Hwy 14, Nicollet)......Hewitt Lifts & Roll-A-Dock is having a bake sale for 1 yr. old Konnor Mathiowetz (son of employee Kris Mathiowetz). Konner was diagnosed with Epilepsy in April and this past week, took a turn for the worse. Konner had a 3 hour seizure and they had to put him in a drug induced coma, and air lift him to the ICU at Children's. He suffered too long of a seizure and is now going to suffer brain damage, They will not know how severe things are until he comes out of his coma. Please keep Konner & his family in your prayers! Busy weekend

We had a great weekend.... busy but great! Saturday we helped my niece Taylor celebrate her 6th birthday at her Wonder Woman birthday party. Sunday we had some friends out for a grill out with of course too much food :). And yesterday Macie spent the day with Grandma Linda (she had a sleep over too) while Kent & I went to the state fair with Troy & Cindy and George & Jodi. We left early in the morning and went to the Jeff Dunham show that evening so that left A LOT of time for food! Let's see if I can name off most of what we ate; french fries, turkey leg, fire roasted pizza, deep fried pickles, corn dog, pronto pup, cotton candy, pickle on a stick, cream puff, ice cream, cheese curds (with a couple return trips), shrimp cocktail, calamari, potato skins, cookies and I'm sure I'm missing a thing or two. But we really enjoyed the day of walking, people watching, eating and the show was great too! I have no pictures from the weekend so I posted some REALLY late ones from our camping trip back at the beginning of August to Stockholm, WI. The one is our campers and the other is Kent & Tony coming in on the Jet Skis, you can see how awesome our sites were & how close we were to the water (I was standing by the campers taking the picture). Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!
