Well I guess that's what I get for my last blog and saying I have nothing to post because nothing exciting was going on... Sunday night we had a not happy girl, so I brought her in to the dr on Monday - she was running a temp & really playing with her right ear. Went to the dr... they dug around in her ear & NOTHING! Had a temp Monday & Tuesday - by Tuesday night she sounded horrible with a bad cold, just not herself..... Wednesday morning dad & I decided to run her back in... they dug around in her ear again & ends up it's right ear infection. They also did an did an x-ray of her chest (she DID NOT like that) & she just had a really bad cold. So that brings us to Thursday...... my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.... Thursday morning like I always do I handed her a toy as she sat on her changing table & took those 2 steps to the rocking chair in her room to grab her clothes....... as I turn back around there is my baby girl falling to the floor! I called Kent & my mom -my mom was not at work yet, so she came down. We stood her up & she would not put pressure on her right foot & would not stop crying. We finally got her calmed down & could tell she was super tired from everything that just happened, so we let her lay down for a while. As she was asleep we moved both of her legs all around & she was not bothered so we thought oh good we're in the clear - well she got up & once again would not stand on her leg. So off to the dr we went.... as we walked into the room she cried because she remembered being there two days this week already & them digging in her ear. Then is was off to x-ray where once again she cried because she remembered just the day before they stuck in that tube like thing to x-ray her chest. Well she ended up breaking 1 bone & fracturing 1 bone.... her tibia & fibula. And that is why she wasn't crying when we moved her leg & hip, but it hurt to stand. So our baby girl has a hot pink cast on for 4 weeks :( as they were putting her cast on there we both were crying... she was crying because I think she was just so overtired, plus still fighting a bad cold & ear infection & of course mom was crying because I knew it was all my fault for this happening! So any mom's that are reading this when they say never leave your child unattended, even for a second - LISTEN! Already yesterday she was starting to move pretty good with it & crawl around & by tonight she was pulling up & standing up with it. It goes from her toes all the way over her knee..
