Christmas 09

We had a great Christmas! Christmas Eve we went to my mom & dad's & celebrated with my family. Macie wore my mom's dress for church (my niece's Kalley & Taylor have both wore it too). After church we opened our presents here at home & called it a night. Christmas Day we had Kent's family over to our house to celebrate. Both days we had way too much to eat, but both days were great!

Wednesday I went to the baby dr to meet my new doctor (Dr Peterson). He walked in & sat down next to me & said Sara I have to be honest with you, I'm going to be on vacation for 20 days in March & I can't deliver you - REALLY?!?! So he did a check up, said everything looked great... heartbeat was 137.... BUT I need to see a different doctor. So I will go back in 2 weeks & see my another "new" doctor (Dr Denke). I was so bummed because my "old" doctor (Dr Gildner) told me I would be able to schedule my c-section at this appt.... but Dr. Peterson assured me I would be able to schedule it at my next appt. So I will give you an update in 2 weeks! Now that Christmas is over it's time to TRY & be patient & wait for baby Evans!

We hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Walker

We officially have a walker - yaaaa! As of last Thursday we do not crawl anymore! She has been going like crazy.... dad and I just find it so hard to believe.... Our baby girl is growing up so fast! She is starting to say more & more words all the time & just do so much more. I think we are also in the process of getting some more teeth, because we have had some BAD diapers :( I changed 6 bad ones on Saturday alone - yuck!
We are really looking forward to Christmas, Macie is going to be so much fun! Last Friday Macie had her Christmas program at daycare & of course did great :) she sat with the kids & rang her jingle bell (What more can you ask of a 1 year old). After that dad & I took her to the mall to see Santa - she DID NOT like him! We are spending Christmas Eve with my family & then Christmas Day with Kent's family. I hope the snow holds off so Kent's family is able to make it, some are coming from the south & some are coming from the cities.
Merry Christmas to everyone from the Evans family - Kent, Sara, Macie & baby Evans

Baby bump picture

I know I have not posted any pictures of my "baby bump" so I had someone take a picture today at Christmas! I am 26 weeks, I have 95 days to go.....64% of my pregnancy has passed and I have 36% left - we are so excited but still have a while to wait!

Macie's big girl room

I have posted some pictures below of Macie's "big girl room". She is not in there yet, I think our plan is to try it in February. It is a trundle bed, so she will be sleeping on the pull out drawer you can kind of see. She is moving into the toddler room at daycare at the end of this month where she will start to nap on a cot, so hopefully that will help too. (some of the pictures are old - she still has her cast on)

Go Raiders

Ok so this post is a little late! Before Thanksgiving Nicollet's football team went to state. The Friday before each game they held a pepfest in the gym & the daycare kids were able to go down & watch it. The football coach told me she was dancing in the stroller (she loves music). So I thought I would post a couple pictures. They played two games in the dome, but we were unable to go because we were on vacation... but the guys played great and came home with 2nd place.

Sad Mom

I had a baby appt yesterday and his/her heartbeat was 144. I asked him at what point we "schedule" for this little one to come out and his response was "it depends on who is going to deliver you?" I was totally confused and my response was "well you of course". Then he told me....he is leaving at the end of January & going to Marshall - I am so sad! I tryed talking him into staying till the the end of February and taking the baby a little early but it was a no go (LOL). I go back in 3 weeks and will see my new doctor at that time. I am sad our doctor is leaving (we both really like him) but all that truly matters to us is that baby Evans is delivered safely! He said we should be able to set a "date" at my next appointment - EXCITING :)

The good new is..... I passed my gestational diabetes test - ya mom!

Macie is doing GREAT! She is so close to walking she is taking steps like crazy, I think by next week she's be on the move.... I'll keep you posted! We got her 1 year pictures taken this week (a little late because of the cast) I will get them posted soon. Have a good weekend!
