This week doesn’t look to be very exciting…. Kent is way up north all week for work, they are building a deck at a lake home, so that is kind of a bummer. The hormones were defiantly in play yesterday when he left. He wasn’t even up the hill by our house (which isn’t even a mile away) and I was in tears :( He has no phone contact at all, so thankfully we have 61 days to go yet - although I know they are going to go by really fast.
No baby appointment this week, the next one we have is next Tuesday the 2nd. I will update again after that. Our son/daughter is still being a pain in my side at times, but we just deal with it as it comes and again just remember how blessed we are to be pregnant. I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!!!

Baby Appt.
Well we had our final baby class last night. You know what amazes/scares me… We had eight hours of class where they taught us what to do during labor, when we are going to have nurses and a doctor by us. But last night we had only an hour of class where they taught us what to do when we are home all by ourselves! As you can tell I am a little nervous!!!
Doctor’s appointment today went well; he said “I’m doing great”. He measured my tummy and checked the heartbeat – which was 156. I start going to the doctor now every other week for the month of September and then will go every week in October. I have starting having some back/side pains but he said the only cure for that is labor, so we are going to just smile and be glad we are pregnant-67 days to go!

Redneck Baby
Kent and I have come to the conclusion that we are going to have a “redneck baby”. Our baby has now been to a mud bog, 2 Nascar races and 4 demo derbies.
We spend this last weekend at the Nicollet county fair watching my brothers and cousin at the demo. They did awesome – my brother Dan won the championship on Friday, my brother Troy won with his truck and my cousin Jeff got second with his truck on Saturday.

The big 3-0
Well I survived the big 3-0 yesterday, thank you to everyone for all of the birthday wishes! My wonderful husband made me breakfast in the morning, then I was off to work for the day and we had baby class last night. We have one more week of this class (we had 4 total), then a week of “newborn care” and we are on our own-YIKES. It’s hard to believe I am in my 3rd trimester already, it has went by so fast – 81 days till my scheduled due date! Mandy that means only 81 days till the big day :)
I am feeling great, so we are hoping that continues. We have a baby appointment on the 19th so I will make sure and post how that goes. On the 13th of September we are doing one of those 3D ultrasounds, I am super excited for that! Dan, Becky and the girls got us a gift certificate for that, what a neat gift. I will make sure and post pictures once we get them. But of course there won’t be any pictures of the little body parts, we are saving that for a surprise!
