3 Month Pictures

3 Month Pictures

If you would like to check out her 3 months pictures you are more than welcome. http://www.searsportrait.com/ ID# 41070A12409229 & password GNSBYMNMX. She did really good, but I think her 6 month pictures will be even better. She is doing good at sitting up but just doesn't have it 100% yet.
Last night she went 8 hours without a bottle - YAAA. Maybe we are going to start sleeping a little longer at night. She has had a cold since the beginning of the year, so I think that has had a lot to do with the getting up at night. But.... I think it might FINALLY be starting to go away. The other morning her cold was in her eye so bad that I had to use a warm washcloth to help her get her right open - poor girl :(
Grandpa Kurt & daddy put a humidifier in with the furnace last weekend & I think that is helping a ton - THANKS GRANDPA!

Family update

I try to update once a week, but there isn't a whole lot new here. I think mom & Macie are both finally getting settled into a routine. She still is not wanting to sleep real well at night - I usually get up at least twice to put her nuk back in & twice to eat. Hopefully we will start sleeping longer soon, I know mom would really like that :).

We are getting her 3 month pictures taken next week (WOW 3 MONTHS) so I will post some of them as soon as I have them. We are going to try Sears instead of quality 1 hr. photo so I'm not sure how long it will take to get them back. If anyone has went anywhere else to get pictures taken & been happy with them I would love to hear it.... I am game to try anywhere, pictures are really expensive...but I also know they are priceless!

Stay warm!

Brrrrr

I thought I would change my background and maybe it would make us forget how cold it was here (ya right)?! And I thought a Hawaii theme would be good since it is almost mommy & daddy's 1 year anniversary - WOW!!! We are all doing great! Macie and mommy are having a day at home today. When Nicollet school is closed for the whole day so is the daycare. Due to the cold weather the school was closed today - therefor we are staying where it is warm. Macie and daddy had some home time on Monday, the daycare center closed at noon since they were saying the weather was suppose to be bad. That's ok though, we don't pay for daycare on days like that and it helps eas mommy into everything...

She seems to really enjoy daycare, so that makes me feel much better. One of the teachers has been really good to me and sends me texts through out the day and keeps me posted on her day so that's awesome - I owe her!

Her cousin Brielle wrapped up 3 or 4 of her favorite toys from when she was a baby (she's now 2) and gave them to Macie for Christmas. This is one of them, Macie really like to suck on it!

Macie today We did make it through the rest of the week at daycare and what do you know... she is just fine! I got better as the week went - I called twice Thursday & only once today! She is starting to get back to herself.. eating more and having plenty of diapers. Each night she has come home from daycare though she is a very tired girl. Thursday night she feel asleep about 7:30 pm woke up around 4:00 had a bottle, went right back to bed & slept till 7:30 this morning. We have cousin Taylor's dance show Saturday... have to start her young :), otherwise we are just going to hang out for the weekend!

I love it- Macie got her 1st dance tutu!!! I can not wait until she can wear it, but it will be a while yet I think - Thanks Traci, Malia & Jay

1st day cont....

I made it the rest of the day without going up to daycare.... I did call though. They said she was a very good girl today! She was just starting to cry when I went in there... I took her and set her in her car seat and she was out within seconds and is still out as we speak! It will be real interesting to see how her night goes tonight?! I will try and post later again in the week - WE MADE IT THROUGH THE FIRST DAY OF DAYCARE!

1st day at daycare

Well mom is back to work and Macie is at her first day of daycare! I dropped her off at about 8:30 and I made it all the way to about 11:30 or so to go out and check on her (and the day isn't over yet :)).

We ended up going to see Dr. Benson (her regular dr) yesterday morning. Monday night/Tuesday morning she had two dry diapers and she is not really interested in her bottles. From about 1:30pm Monday afternoon till about 5:00am Tuesday morning she only ate about 6 oz at the most and usually she would have had about 15 ounces. Dr. Benson said everything looked good, but he wants us to keep an eye on her so she does not get dehydrated. She did drink about 3 ounces for me at 4:00am this morning and about 2 ounces for dad this morning, but woke up with a dry diaper. I think that is what is making me a little more worried about her at daycare. When I went out she had a wet diaper :) but had only eaten 2 ounces :(

No daycare for today

Today was suppose to be Macie's 1st day of daycare, but instead we are at home. Yesterday I went up to Grease at the Orpheum with my sister in laws & 3 of my cousins.. daddy helped a buddy on his fish house...so Macie spent the day with Grandma & her cousin's. I picked her up about 5:30 & mom said she was really good all day, had taken a couple different naps through out the day. She cried all the way home & was just not a happy girl? Kent & I were starting to think she didn't like us! About 8:00 or so when I was changing her diaper I thought she felt kind of warm & sure enough she had a temp of 101.6. When we were in for her 2 month check up Benson said he wanted to know about anything over 100.0, so I called the nurses station. They said with her being so young she should not have anything over 100.3 & that we should bring her into E.R. right away. So away we went with her... her right ear is red, but not infected. We are suppose to go in on Wednesday & make sure it did not turn into an infection. She also has some upper respiratory going on. He said to really watch her; make sure she is eating good? If she is sleeping more? Fussy? All that fun stuff - so therefor we are hanging out at home for the day.
